Catching up on my blog, (my sister doesn’t have internet) so the dates of the blogs are a little off. Anyways, on Wednesday we went to Sedona. It’s a really beautiful area, the rock formations are truly breathtaking.

We stopped in the area where there are all these little shops, and we walked around for a while. One of the shops had all kinds of mystical stuff, like crystals and rocks, and with each of the crystals and rocks there were little papers that explained what each was used for.
I found a beautiful little angel pendant, it’s iridescent, like a rainbow of colors all together, most prominent an icy blue.  I forgot to get the name of the gemstone, but I believe it’s a moonstone. When I bought it, the lady at the desk started to cut a piece of cord, but I told her that I was going to wear it, along with my daughter’s ashes. She said that she would cleanse it for me and placed it in a bowl and ran a kind of stick thing around it. It made a humming sound, as she ran it around the bowl.

After I left, I wandered around outside a little, Joanne and Brenda were still inside. Brenda then came back outside, telling me that I should come back inside, she had asked the lady about the vortex’ s in Sedona. She asked me when my daughter had passed away, and that if I wanted she could do a healing ritual for me. I asked how much it costs, and she said it was whatever I felt comfortable paying. She said it wasn’t associated with the shop and gave me her card. She said if I wanted to do it to call her in the morning.

I thought about it all the way home, both Brenda also Joanne said I should do it. After dinner, we sat around visiting. Then we went to Wal-Mart to get a new heater for the bedroom. After we got home, we had some wine and just kicked back and relaxed. I still hadn’t made my mind up about the ritual, but when I did my candle lighting that I do every night for Jennifer, I talked to her about it.

When I finished talking to Jennifer, I decided that I was going to do it. I told Brenda and Joanne that I was going to do it, and asked Joanne if she minded going back to Sedona tomorrow, before we went to Phoenix. She said it was fine.

So off to bed we went. I am glad that I was able to spend time with Brenda, and am really glad that I came.
